Not much to go on here I'm afraid, taken by a family member on holiday in Corfu recently and just one for the 'Family Album'. It appears to be a 'fritillary'.
Anything much appreciated as part of my learning....anyone!

I don't know what they would call it it corfu, but over here that's a Silver-washed Fritillary.

Many thanks Gruditch, though I hoped for something other than your ID as I know the SWF and now feel I should have tried a little harder on this one but being in Corfu.......
Only thing to hope for now is a challenge to make things a bit more exciting.
