Request for info Hungary

Post by JProchera »

Hello all,

I am hoping to spend a week late July in Hungary looking predominantly for butterflies. I am thinking of staying at FarmLator which I know some people here have been to. Sadly, I am not able to afford to go with a tour company so will be on my own. I was wondering if anyone had any sites, maps, coordinates or info on the local area around BUKK and AGGTELEK national parks that they would be happy to share either on here or to my email.

Being a birdwatcher by trade I am just hoping for a week where I can immerse myself and spend some time learning species at my own pace.

Would really appreciate any help!

Thanks

Jon

Hi Jon,

I suggest you ask Rob de Jong from Farm Lator directly, especially since you may need a permit to enter some of the national parks.

Cheers,
