That is momentous. I've never fully understood the restricted distribution of this delightful butterfly in the UK. I hope it continues to flourish and prosper in Sussex.

I'm struggling to think of a single discovery that trumps this in 9 years as a member of UKB.

Clearly, unlike some of the Glanville releases, this colony has been around rather longer, so it is fantastic to learn that it is thriving some distance away from its historic heartlands in the Midlands.

Now that it has been unearthed, I hope it can be afforded sufficient protection so that it continues to prosper.
