A walk along the sea wall at Canvey Island was rewarded by an encounter with this young lady.

Went to Berkshire on Friday to watch the Chalkhill Blues, but what made the greatest impression was the large number of Peacocks present, they literally surrounded me. Oh and this not quite but almost crazy Tortoiseshell.

hi, I was taking pictures of commas this weekend, there's a fair few around, and I noticed that this individual has an unusual spot on the hind wings. Is this some sort of wing damage?
