Caterpillar in curled up Dock leaf
Hoping someone can help me (again! :)) with narrowing down the ID of a caterpillar. It's made itself a cocoon in a dock leaf, by curling up the edge and using silk to secure everything. My partner said it looks to be a green caterpillar with possible stripes (he has far better eyesight than me!). By...

Another sunny day up here, so the buddleia was the favourite nectaring spot, but a few went for the sweet peas and gladioli. Three red admirals, one very small and pale painted lady, peacocks, small + large whites and small tortoiseshells.
Plus a Silver Y moth, which hung around all day.

Plenty of feeding on the buddleia today (2nd flowering) - painted ladies, peacocks, small whites and lots of small tortoiseshells.
