Thanks for the suggestion, Guy. I don't believe they are vapourers. The eggs are a pale blueish grey and have a texture of fine ridges (keels?) radiating from a central point. I found these guys hatching while hanging out the washing this morning and would love to know what species they are. Apologies for the quality of the photo, it must be about time to invest in a decent macro lens!
