I have been doing some further research and come to some conclusions.
I now think that Skipper 1 is a particularly bright Fiery Skipper
I think that Skipper 2 may be a Delaware Skipper - Anatrytone logan.
I believe that the moth is probably a Yponomeuta Moth,
Any comments?

Re: St Lucia Puzzler
Thanks Padfield I had been thinking of Memphis dominicana, but had not been able to convince myself. Must learn how to navigate the North America site more effectively! Thanks for the tip re the OUP butterfly book. I hope I can find a library that has it. See below a link to an interesting write-up ...

St Lucia Puzzler
I have returned from a holiday in St Lucia where I saw a good variety of butterflies etc. While birdlife on St Lucia is well documented, butterflies are less well covered. So I would be very grateful for any help with identification of these puzzlers. A skipper which I think is not a Fiery Skipper, ...

Winged Insect and a caterpillar
I would be grateful for any help with ID of the attached. The caterpillar appeared in my moth trap which seems odd. I believe that it may be a lime hawkmoth. Any other suggestions? I am completely stumped by the winged insect which flew into our living room - first thought was a bee until we looked ...

Help with ID please - possibly a moth
I would be grateful for any help identifying this small butterfly or moth which I photographed in West Oxfordshire last Friday. I thought it was a clearwing moth, but could not find a match in my reference books.

Re: More butterflies seen in Costa Rica
Thank you all for your suggestions. I have been googling images for Eurema. I have also been checking my photos. I have an out of focus in flight shot. This butterfly then settled and is the third one in my original posting. I am displaying it now. The in flight shot was leading me towards Eurema ela...

More butterflies seen in Costa Rica
Can you help with these butterflies which I have not been able to identify? Seen in Costa Rica in woods near west coast between Punta Arena and Colorado. I think that the first two are some kind of blue. The photos are of two different butterflies, which may (or may not) be the same species. The thi...

Re: Butterfly in Costa Rica
Thank you both. It was so pale I could not convince myself it was a White Peacock. I have photos of others where the marking are much more convincing.
