I have a small nettle plant in my back garden, just having the most terrible time of it, being eaten away. see my pics.

I think this is a moth, but you might tell me better

A Small Tortoiseshell or a Peacock, both seem to be the same.

I know it's spring, but is this love.

on the underside of a nettle flower, 4 black (eggs) in the middle of the picture.I couldnt get a better close up. but they were right though the bunch of nettles.

I'm new to taking pictures of butterflies, my camera is a samsung 15 optical zoom, 14 mega pix. So not really a professional

Thanks for confirming that, it was very quick off the mark and I only managed to get one picture. I'm hoping to visit more spots this weekend. Hoping the sun stays out.
