TomTom Support

TomTom is the most widely used navigation system in the country and Roger Harding has kindly converted the site information into a form suitable for TomTom users. Apparently, there is free software available to convert TomTom format to Autoroute "Pushpins" and other formats.

Instructions

The easiest way to load these files to your TomTom is:

  • Save the .bmp and .ovl files to your computer.
  • Connect your TomTom to your PC.
  • After TomTomHome has loaded, minimise it.
  • Open"My Computer".
  • Open the TomTom symbol.
  • Open file called "UK Map", or "Map of Western Europe" or similar.
  • Copy the two files (.bmp and .ov2) and paste into the map file.

if you have any problems, please contact Roger Harding at roger.diver@btopenworld.com
