ID for a Pyrgus please

Postby Chris Jackson » Tue May 16, 2017 5:01 pm

Hi Folks,
Who would like to have a bash at ID-ing this Pyrgus?
Seen this week in central southern France - alt. approx. 450 m ASL.
Seen on thym.
Possibly P. malvoides.
Thanks in advance,
Chris

I'd go for onopordi - and I don't think malvoides is a possibility, given the upperside.

Thank you Guy,
I'll put it down as P. onopordi then.
