Moth Immigration - a good year

Post by Lee Hurrell »

Found this on BBC news this morning - a good season for moth immigration and a good reason to watch Autumnwatch tonight, despite Kate not being there.

As I was reading it a short feature on BBC breakfast highlighted the same story from this morning's newpapers. (The moths, rather than Kate not being on Autumnwatch).

Yes, I heard this report whilst on the way to work.

If moths have migrated to the southern coast of Britain in greater numbers than before, why haven't we seen a similar influx of butterflies?

I can't answer, David.

But I can post a link to some gorgeous pictures of the moths listed as doing well as immigrants in the news story :D
