A new egg (laid between 28th January and 11th February) was found by Paul Harfield at Southwick, Hampshire. Reported on UKB forum /viewtopic.php?t=9581&start=60#p127894
Paul Harfield also witnessed a Red Admiral laying approximately 6 eggs at the same site on 17th February, as well as locating other fresh eggs. Reported on UKB forum /viewtopic.php?t=9581&start=60#p128035

Also on 17th February, a Red Admiral egg, which was laid in November 2017 and at least 90 days old, hatched at a site in Crawley, Sussex. Reported by Vince Massimo on UKB forum viewtopic.php?f=8&t=9581&start=60#p127974
