Re: Another sad case - is this on the rise?

I was going to approach the man yesterday but my Husband said not too, he wasn't carrying a camera which made me more suspicious, I thought if I mentioned it on UKB people who visited Temple Ewell could keep a look out for him.
I think you only said what most of our thinking rex, Goldie :D

Re: Common Blue or Chalkhill Goldie

The photo looks great Mike more like what I saw, I didn't really understand the Raw shots before, but it sounds a good Idea to keep both, you know me I like trying different things, I must admit though I like the blue haze. Goldie :D

Re: Hoggers

Lovely Coppers Hogger's has always, we were going to come to Dungeness today, my Daughter's car however broke down in the morning on the Duel Carriage way and it shook her up a bit so we took our car and her to White Cliffs instead. I've recently got a few Copper's but I was wondering if you've seen...

Re: Goldie M

Monday was a great day, lovely weather and lots of Butterflies :D We went to Temple Ewell NR and I couldn't believe the amount of Butterflies there, MW's LW's GK's BA and Chalkhill Blues etc. It was very hot so after a couple of hours wandering about we'd had enough and decided to go to the White Cl...

Re: Another sad case - is this on the rise?

Yesterday I was at Temple Ewell NR and saw a man there with a net, I wonder if he thought like I did that may be the Silver Spotted Skipper were out early, he walked with the net behind his back. I can't help it when I see people with nets, they may be okay but it does make one suspicious. Goldie :?:

Re: ID please for Butterflies

Thanks Nick, the third Butterfly was very small and that made me wonder , I'd called it a Common Blue but the size of it threw me.

Re: Goldie M

Thanks Wurzel and David, we went back there yesterday but although we saw some they quickly hid, the wind was very strong and blowing the trees all over the place. Goldie :D Last Friday the 14th July we set off for Fermyn Wood, the Idea was to stay over night in a motel giving ourselves some breathi...
