My overall favourite photo is the shot I took of my very first White Letter Hair Streak , I went all through my shots but kept coming back to this one, I remembered how the Sun seemed to make it glow and bring out it's colours, plus the excitement that I'd actually seen one after a few years of look...

Hi! Guy, Thanks for the info, I saw my earliest Small Tort on March 5th one year but the Winter here at the time had been quite mild, it's always the first butterfly we see here in the North, so not long to go now. :D Goldie :D

I found the name for my ab, I'd down loaded the Butterfly onto a flash than got mixed up with others, all sorted now :oops:

Yesterday was a cold miserable day but at least it was fine but with an icy wind that seemed to go through to the bones UGH! The White -Letter- Hair- Streaks certainly love the Brambles, that 's where I saw my HS's , once on the Brambles they're too busy to mind other things. :lol: Goldie :D
