Sigma 150-600 contemporary lens

Hi,
I bought this lens recently for wildlife photography in general and birds in particular. I have a Canon 7D Mk1 and I am disappointed with the sharpness of the photos even when on a tripod or similar. Any comments would be appreciated. :( :(

I saw this small copper in Norfolk a fortnight ago. Is it an aberration or normal colouring?

Butterflies flying when overcast skies

Ringlet (1).jpg I have just returned from visiting a butterfly site where I would expect to see 11 species at this time of year. However, due to very overcast skies only two species were seen. Ringlet and meadow brown mating?

I photographed a ringlet mating today with what looked like a meadow brown. Is this possible? Also, saw a male black-tailed skimmer today on the IOW.

Butterfly sites near Framingham Suffolk

My wife and I will be in Suffolk from 7 July for a week , then in Mid Norfolk for five days. Where is the best place to see butterflies? Is it too late for swallowtails?
