Not sure if this will work, but this I hope is a link to my video on Flickr of same situation in Femyn wood on 3rd July last year.

Re: Neil Hulme

Lovely shots from Daneway Neil, I thought I saw you climbing up the hill on Tuesday morning when I was there. I was coming down from a long wait in the windy conditions from the top bit. By time I looked again you had disappeared, wish I had introduced myself now. I might go to Fermyn as soon as the...

Re: Chequered Skipper reintroduction

Did no one see Chris Packham's report on Springwatch Monday night, I expected some comments although content was similar to the Anglia TV link posted above. Hope it all goes well as 60 miles to Rockingham is better than 450 miles to For William for me.

Common blue with black spots on wings

Photographed this Common Blue today that has dark/black spots on wings, the wing veins also seem quite prominent. Looking through the Abs I can see no others like it. Taken @ Cranwich camp NWT reserve this afternoon. Very hot & butterfly would not fully open wings. Eric P1760285 Common Blue with...

Re: November 2016

On Wednesday 23rd my car was parked in a sunny position @ Holme next the Sea Norfolk for a couple of hours while I visited the local reserve. On driving away I saw in my rearview mirror a Small Tort fluttering about in the rear window. I assume at some time it had found it's way into the car for hib...

Re: Iain Cowe - BC Outstanding Volunteer award

Congratulations to Iain. He was very helpful to me this year with info on how to find the NBA @ Burnmouth when I contemplated driving a 200 mile round trip from our holiday in Durham especially to photograph the NBA. Info was spot on & found them in a short time, enabling me to keep the wife hap...

Typical of the way befuddled counsel's do business these days. I have passed on a link to my daughter who lives in Sheffield & her in-laws & hope they will spread the message through their own contacts in the area. Eric

Re: Butterflies Nov Iberia cruise

Many thanks for the ID's & comments. I was disappointed not to find more butterflies but did also see a Hummingbird Hawk-moth @ Cartagena that never stayed still enough for a photo + unidentified white bf that refused to present itself for a photo. Eric
