LIFE CYCLE MOBILE

Resources –

Stiff paper or card
Crayons or paints
2 pipecleaners
Black thread and needle
Pencil
Scissors

Activity -
Cut out one butterfly shape and two pupae, 4 caterpillars and 8 eggs. Colour them in. Then string them together as shown in the diagram below to form a mobile. The mobile illustrates the life cycle and explains that at each stage the numbers of individuals are reduced.
