Application – Butterflies are ideal subjects for artwork. The following activity is a very effective way of producing butterflies.
Season – Any
Resources –
| Water paints | Brushes |
| Sugar paper | Lots of newspaper to cover tables |
Activity – Splash paint onto one side of a piece of sugar paper. Fold the paper over and press it down. Open out the paper and add more colours. Refold and press. When the butterfly is dry add a body and antennae.
Risk assessment – No undue risk
Extensions – More butterflies, maybe different groups.
